EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio – The totals are in for the annual free collection of household hazardous wastes and old electronics that Heritage Thermal Services (HTS) sponsored on Earth Day for its neighbors. During the five-hour event, HTS employees, family members and community volunteers unloaded and packed for recycling or proper disposal 18.75 tons of wastes that could have been poured down the drain or tossed in the trash. This year’s volume raises the total amount collected since the program began to 216 tons. Views photos of this event on Facebook.
